ABOUT CASIENDA ESCAPES
Our Story
The name Casienda began as a playful combination of casita and hacienda, and it stuck. Like our properties, it’s a little unexpected, welcoming, and uniquely ours.
Casienda Escapes began with Yuba Lake Resort, a true labor of love that was built by Chad from the ground up. What started as a vision for a special place where family and friends could gather became a home filled with thoughtful details, fun amenities, and plenty of space to make memories together.
After seeing how much we loved creating and sharing Yuba Lake Resort, we decided to venture a little farther from home and expand Casienda Escapes into new destinations. Each property has been chosen with the same idea in mind: find a great location, create a memorable experience, and give families and groups a place they’ll genuinely enjoy spending time together.
And we’re still growing. Our next Casienda Escapes property is currently under construction in Washington, Utah, near St. George. Surrounded by Southern Utah’s red-rock scenery and endless recreation, it’s the next chapter in a story that continues to evolve with every new escape.
